The 11^th ACM International Conference on Systems for Energy-Efficient Buildings, Cities, and Transportation (ACM BuildSys '24) will be held on November 7^th - 8^th, 2024 in Hangzhou, China. 

 

ACM BuildSys is a selective forum focused on research related to systems issues in the built environment. It addresses the integration of networked sensors, building controls, and infrastructure, highlighting their role in creating smart cities. With built environments accounting for over half of energy consumption, optimizing these systems is crucial for enhancing economic, security, and health outcomes. BuildSys serves as a platform for researchers and practitioners to advance smart infrastructure through networked sensing, computing, and control technologies.

Conference Highlights

• BuildSys '24 will provide a venue for researchers and practitioners to present research results, share experiences, and participate in the development of systems that address the interdependence of buildings, cities, and transportation. 

• Selected papers will be fast-tracked to be published in two special issues:

  • A special issue of the journal "Data-Centric Engineering (DCE)" from Cambridge Press.

  • A special issue of the journal "ACM Transactions on Sensor Network (TOSN)
